Is HomeHeard free?
Yes — completely free. No ads, no paid listings, no premium tiers.
Do I need an account to read reviews?
You can browse buildings, scores and the first reviews freely. A free account unlocks all reviews and lets you write your own.
Can I review anonymously?
Yes. Flip one switch in your profile and all your reviews show as "Anonymous resident" — past ones included. Your apartment number is never shown either way.
What is the Verified resident badge?
You can optionally upload a rental contract or utility bill to prove you lived at the address. Documents are never published, are seen only by moderators, and are deleted right after the check. Verified reviews carry more weight in scores.
Which addresses are covered?
Every address in the Netherlands — about 10 million of them, straight from the official BAG registry (Kadaster).
How are building scores calculated?
Scores are a weighted average of resident reviews on a 0–10 scale: verified residents count more, and buildings with only a couple of reviews are smoothed toward the platform average so a single rating can't dominate.
I'm a landlord and disagree with a review. What can I do?
Use the Report option on the review or email info@homeheard.app. Our moderators check every report; content that breaks our guidelines (personal attacks, false claims, personal data) is removed.
